The story of Maxim Molnar

Chronology of the path to the creation of Eye

1. Childhood and first steps

Maxim was born hearing in Borisov, but at the age of 2 he lost his hearing due to complications after an antibiotic. I spent my childhood between boarding school and home. The main language was sign language, but thinking was formed through images, shapes and drawings.

He spent hours drawing abstractions, became interested in comics and learned to read through them. At school I was a poor student not because of my abilities, but because of incompatibility with the standard system. The only subject where he felt freedom was drawing.

2. First acquaintance with the Internet

At the age of 14, a computer appeared at home. The Internet became for Maxim a window into the world of knowledge. For the first time, he felt the power of a tool that allows him to search for answers himself and explore information from around the world.

3. Lots of questions

Maxim’s mother is a believer, and as a child he often listened to her talk about Bible stories. These stories aroused his curiosity and desire to understand the structure of the world. One day he asked a question to which he did not receive a clear answer, and it was then that he first became interested in searching for his own explanations and meanings.

4. Search for meaning

Reflections on the world, the structure of the Universe, opposites and human nature gradually formed his own philosophy, which later became part of the Eye concept.

5. The beginning of the path to Eye

At the age of 20, Maxim realized that a person can become anyone, regardless ofcircumstances. He dropped out of his studies at RGSAI and decided to go his own way.

6. 3D modeling and first successes

In 2015, he entered the MyFreedom IT school for 3D modeling courses and became one of the best students.

7. Teaching and first drafts of Eye

In 2016, he began teaching 3D modeling for people with hearing impairments. At the same time, he created the first sketches of the future project, which was then called “The All-Seeing Eye,” but was later renamed Eye.

8. First team

In 2017, he assembled a team of six students. They participated in hackathons, but the team disbanded due to lack of experience. Maxim continued to work alone.

9. Work in an IT company

In 2018, he left teaching and joined the Mind Games company to gain experience in VR/AR development, teamwork and management.

10. First prototype Eye

In 2019, I saved up money, bought a powerful computer and quit my job to devote myself entirely to creating Eye. This is how the first real prototype appeared.

11. Second team and attempts to attract investment

In 2020, Maxim invited Marina to become a co-founder. They assembled a new team of students. The prototype was developing, but investors did not understand the value of metaverses - the time had not yet come.

12. Team growth

In 2021, the team expanded: artists, copywriter, event manager. They participated in competitions, but without funding. Maxim gained important leadership experience.

13. HTP and office support

In 2022, after Zuckerberg's announcement about the metaverse, attitudes towards the project changed. The team received support from the HTP business incubator and worked in the office without a budget, but with great enthusiasm.

14. Partnerships and new attempts

A partner appeared from the startup Selfim, the team participated in DemoDay and Mogilev Invest, but again without funding.

15. Transition to marketing and websites

In 2023, Maxim met Jessica, a network marketing leader. Together they developed a strategy for raising funds without investors and began creating a website through the partner’s development team.

16. Termination of partnership and website development independently

In 2024, the site development partner did not live up to expectations, and cooperation had to be terminated. The team continued to work remotely from home. Maxim brought in his older brother, a backend developer, to create the platform and NFT marketplace.

17. Transition to solo founding

In 2025, the team was forced to stop working due to lack of funding. The co-founder left, my brother was unable to continue due to his main job. Maxim was left alone and continued to independently study full stack development, developing the Okfast project alone and relying on modern tools and support of AI.
